Christopher Barr is a leading award winning international portrait, editorial, film stills photographer, fine artist & academic researcher based in Belfast, Dublin and London.

He has over fifteen years of experience within the film industry specializing in all aspects of unit stills.

Christopher’s award winning photographs from film sets and editorial commissions are much sought after. 

Recent credits include BBC Period Drama Death and Nightingales Starring Matthew Rhys Jamie Dornan, Ann Skelly, and Mrs Wilson starring Ruth Wilson, Iain Glen and Keeley Hawes and also Feature Film  Abner Pastoll’s ‘A Good Woman is Hard to Find’ starring Sarah Bolger.

His body of work includes film stills, publicity, portraiture, fine art and editorial photography.

His latest work documenting the death of his father from cancer has just been featured in American Suburb X and also Fotomuseum Antwerp, Wired UK,

Wired Japan,  ELLE, and is widely acknowledged as a seminal piece of documentary photography (link attached).
